When I came across this cozy little hide away . I didn't think it would be very good from the looks of the outside. The waitress were a bit snotty and pushy for my taste but hey they're just out to make a buck or two. Sounds kind of horrible right? Well it wasn't when it came to the food. Huge portions for a fair price. Made my eyeballs ...

Really nobody in St. Louis does pasta better. I've tried them all. I'm a "pasta-head" and St. Louis native.
If there's a wait, it's worth it. They also have a fine selection of veal entrees at unbelievably reasonable
prices. A home-town gem. Our own little secret.

  • Nothing Special

This used to be THE place to get great Italian food. Not anymore. The chicken entree we ordered was very very bland and the Penne pasta was "mushy" and breaking apart, and DRENCHED in sauce. The Italian sausage that came with the pasta had a freezer burned taste to it. And the salad was very very soggy and limp. The are much better places to go for the money.

  • Huge portions of REALLY bad food!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/06
We were completely disappointed with our first and last visit to Cunetto's.The $60 we spent for dinner for two was money poorly spent. The fried eggplant appetizer was good, but the marinara (red sauce) tasted, literally, like canned tomato soup! The salad was limp from swimming in too much so-so tasting dressing. The beef roll-up (one of the ...

  • Wonderful Visit

In St. Louis for a vacation and found this restaurant listed in a brochure at the hotel. It was a wonder experience. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious.

Coming from a small town in Kentucky, I may not be the most experienced resource; however, this Italian food was brought to the table in an expeditious manner and ...
