Mother's Day Disaster!
First, let me say that the majority of the food was good - as always. (Main courses, desserts are a little suspect) What was ridiculous was the service (lack there of) and the kitchen delays.
I understand that Mother's Day brunch is a difficult service - but my expectation is to be able to eat a meal in less than 2 ...

I wish I'd read the peer reviews before we TRIED to eat here. We didn't see anywhere on the website that said reservations were REQUIRED. NOTE to owners: ‘Reservations are recommended, but walk in are always welcome’ should probably be taken off your site if you don’t actually reserve a few spaces for walk ins, don’t you think?? ...

We made 5:30 reservations for New Years Eve for a party of 12. They were unable to seat us together, so we were split up into two tables of 6. What a big disappointment, poor service and average food for a high price!

I used to like this place but can't recommend it anymore. Service is bad and don't even bother to try to talk to them about it 'cause they DON'T care.

Big Sky Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis. I have been going there for years and I have always had terrific food and great service. The food is terrific and the great presentation adds to the meal. The macaroni & cheese, and the mashed potatos are some of the best I have ever had! Server was woderful... the little courtyard is very romantic, or great for a group of friends. Food is very good, wine was even better (recommended by our server).
