The atmosphere is very nice. Staff were very pleasant. The wine selection was good. The food, however, was a huge disappointment. Chicken entree was dry and steak entree portions seemed small, tasteless and some was tough.

5 Star restaurant! Food and wine were excellent, service was excellent as well. Would frequent this restaurant again without hesitation. Prices were slightly high, but for nice occasions it's quite impressive. Love the atmosphere, and the fireplace was an added bonus!

We made our reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. I was given a gift certificate and my husband and I decided to have an evening out. We were the 4th couple seated in the main dining room and were the LAST to get our food! Which was at 7:25 pm. Nice place but the service was very VERY slow (for the price). From the time we sat down at our table until we walked out was right at 2 hours. I dont think we will be back any time soon

  • Very Nice for a romantic Dinner
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/05
Me and my wife went here for our wedding Anniversary. We sat upstairs at a nice candle lit table for two. the wine list is great and if you tell them what taste you are looking for the staff can pick a few for you. The food was excellent just a little on the expensive side. The service was great the glasses never were empty and the food was out in no time. Great place to eat if you want to take your girl out to a nice dinner.

  • Good food. Neat building.

Very nice place. We stopped in for lunch one day. Not a very wide selection on the menu, but it is all very good. There Apple pies were great. The building was built in the 1850's and is very intersting itself. There is a newspaper (not a copy) that has Dacey Crockets Death in it. This place is worth stopping by. I'll have to come back for dinner one night. It is a bit pricey though.
