This is a truly amazing place. Not the friendliest staff, but that is only because they are always busy. They are always helpful and responsive, and fair with getting you a table. This restaurant has been reviewed in many different magazine and newspapers. I love their taquitoes dorados. The salsa is to die for, smoky and sweet. And their salads are just as tasty. Good prices and some dishes are big enough to slit if you are on a budget.

As a local resident, we are not fond of this restaurant from the stand point of the parking situation. PLEASE!!!! Parking is available immediately West of the restaurant (near the pharmacy). It's closer than parking on the neighboring streets and less intrusive on the residents. Here's an idea: Why not relocate to the recently vacated Macaroni Grill on Carpenter / Touhy Avenue .. plenty of space (seating and parking) ...

I hate giving this place a good review since its already gotten way too busy, but I'd be doing it wrong to not do so. Wonderful food and great prices. I believe it's still BYOB which is nice. Is typically very crowded and tight-packed however.

The food is excellent and consistent. The wait can be unbearable especially with kids. Carry out is good but not as good as eating there.

The food here is worth the wait. Seems that since this place is popular for the cuisine, the wait at rush hour can be a little long, but worth it. Don't forget this place is BYOB, so come prepared. Otherwise, they cater to any Mexican whim you desire. We ordered several appetizers and were very satisfied. I bet you'll find my car parked in front again real soon.
