I love this restaurant, it has great greek food and the service is great!. I have been coming to this place for the past 10 years and no other greek restaurant in Chicagoland compares to it! the food portions are very good and the taste amazing. If you have never tried greek food, I recommend their combination plates.. it has a mix of some of their popular dishes! You would not regret it! Enjoy :)

I'm a longtime diner going back to 1982 at the original Grecian Taverna and at the more recent Lincolnwood location as recently as late April. There is no need to go to Greek Town to get original Grecian favorites with great taste. I drive down from the Wisconsin/Illinois state line just for dishes like the homemade Gryos, charcoal lamb chops ...

My dad was introduced to the owners previous resturaunt partnership on Lincoln in I believe Lincolnwood. When they split we followed him here. My father lives in Gurnee and I live in Wisconsin. We gladly make this drive to eat here. I haven't had better yet. If you go you have to try the egg lemon soup and the saganaki. They're to die for. Their butterfly lamb chops are the best I've ever had too!!
