Souk's food was good. Their dessert selection wasn't good and the desserts did not taste palatable. The service was the worst thing of all. I went there before the bellydancer performance and I felt like my guests and I were being rushed to leave the place before the show crowd arrived, not even giving us a chance to decide if we want to watch the show or not.
Okay, I'm not all that adventurous when it comes to grub. Love Souk's kicky decor and starving artist-type waitstaff. Was baffled by much of the menu, but found comfort with the familiar (and delicious) lamb. I went on a night when the belly dancers came out throwing their hips so wonderfully I swear the plates moved. If you want that kind of visual excitement along with your kabobs, call and ask which nights the dancers perform.
