My boyfriend and I went to Roy's last night and had a great dining experience. The wait for an outside table was 15 minutes, which gave us time to have some drinks at the bar. I had the lemon drop martini which was excellent. Everyone from the host, to the bartender to the server were extremely friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation ...

I actually have never taken the time to write a review for anything, but my experience at Roy's was so outstanding that I had to take the time.
My husband and I went there to celebrate our 7th anniversary. I made the reservations through opentable.com and put a short note that the reason for our visit was to celebrate our anniversary. Upon ...

I can't really speak on the quality of the food or the service because I unfortunately never was sat. I made reservations at Roy's for my 21st birthday at 8:00 pm on a Friday. Waited 30 minutes before deciding to leave because my table was never ready when I asked. They never offered me any information as to when it would be either. I had ...
Try the white fish it has a macademia nut crust and a lobster sauce underneath mashed potatoes. It was one of the best meals I have ever had! 4 stars all the way......Great service, food, desserts, convenient parking.....fantastic!

The Best Dessert in Chicago
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/06
Roy's is truly one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the service is top-notch. I like how the host/hostess says "Aloha" when you walk into the restaurant.
For starters, I would suggest the Lobster Potstickers. Amazing. The Butterfish is one of their featured entrees, and it is ...

We've also seen kids eating there on a number of occassions, too. The kitchen has a special menu for them, ...

Pre Fixe Dinner
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/05
The best three course meal that I have enjoyed in a while was at Roy's in Chicago. Everything was first class and the deal couldn't be better.
We sat outside and there was a gentle breeze blowing from the west. The evening was excellent.

Best Hawaiian food in town... excellent!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/05
The food was terrific, the atmosphere very "lounge-like" and relaxing, and the service was excellent and professional...very attentive and curteous. Overall, a great experience... Oh, and the Hawaiian Martini hit the spot (i'm not usually a fan of the fruity drink either...). Go try one.
