great view, great service but food pricing little expensive.it is totaly touristic and that is why the price is overpriced.you could have a drink at the lounge without spending so much money at the restaurant.

If you are visiting Chicago you must go to the Signature Room! Even if you can't afford dinner, go to the lounge for a drink (The Mojitos are the best I've ever had!)... the view is amazing!! You won't be dissapointed. The lounge is on the 96th floor of the Hancock building and the view overlooks the city. I'm so glad I went. And ...

I won't grade for food, but its an experience one should have. I think people rarely turn here for food.
Food is fine, not great. Price is for view ;-)

Go for the view! The food was average and overpriced.. The service was very slow. Dinner took 3 hours!

First & Last Time

The food was wonderful, very flavorful, however, the portions were small for the high dollar price. The ambiance and view were phenomenal, but the service was absolutely terrible! We were seated for an hour and a half before receiving our entrees and received no updates from our waiter. When you pay about $50 bucks a plate, the service should be outstanding and that was not the case. Maybe being that far up in the air clouds your judgement.

Great Dinner

Last Saturday my boyfriend surprised me and took me to the Signature Room. What a GREAT experience. The view is incredible. Fine dining at its best. Afterwards, he took me on a carriage ride with Chicago Horse & Carriage. That was a terrible disappointment. That carriage company is awful and I suggest to everyone that you use another carriage service.
I cannot find a "dislike" about this place, for it has excellent professional service, watching the sunset and the city of Chicago light up is an experience that ANYONE who visits the Greatest architectual city in the world...,"Sweet Home Chicago has so very much to offer the visitor, and I have lived in L.A., Austin TX, and Tampa ...
