I have been going to Frontera since day one. Even after I moved back to Rockford, Frontera is still the restaurant that I visit when I am in Chicago. The food is wonderful and the service is comparable.

Delicious food; reliable favorites and new, interesting choices; great energy; friendly and knowledgeable staff . . . one of the few places at which I'll wait 90 minutes for a table --- all the better to have a margarita and guacamole.

My guy and went to Frontera at the beginning of lunch this week and were blown away. My tamales were amazing, the plaintain cakes very tasty, and the habanero salsa cleared my sinuses! It is absolutly on our list when we go back to Chicago.
