Gino's is definitely good pizza. However, I was expecting a more casual atmosphere. Our waiter was awesome and very honest about how long it takes for the pizza to be cooked (45 minutes once your order is placed). We got a medium (8 slices for about $25-30) for 3 of us (myself, my husband, and our 10 year old). The pizza was definitely a ...

Do not go here unless you have an entire afternoon to burn. We were sat at 2:35, got our drinks at 3:00 and our pizza by 4:00. The pizza sort of sucked, go to Giodonalds, much better service and food. I lived in Chicago and this is a tourist trap that sucks! We told the manager about our experience and he did nothing, which was what he did for the table next to us that complained.

Do not go! The wait was long and the pizza was one of the worst I have ever had. The cheese was almost absent from the deep dish. Deeply disappointing.

Gino's East is decent no doubt; Home Run Inn is the best in the entire state! Especially the original location on Pulaski. (West Side of town)

Ginos east is very good..and if you want to try an authentic thin crust pizza Joe's Pizza in Wheeling is awesome..Italian sausage and real Mozzarella cheese..give it a try in north suburban Chicago.

Ginos' East is definitely overrated! While in Chicago, try Lou Malnati's or Pizzeria Due's. Both are very good. In for deep dish with a twist? Try Pequod's Pizza- yum! :)

Gino's east is good, but Home Run Inn is even better! Other Chicago Gems outside of the whole touristy rush street scene include Piece (in Wicker Park, GREAT thin crust pizza in a nice micropub in a cool, artsy greenwich village like neighborhood), as well as Home Run Inn (they have several chicago area locations look them up)
