Al's is a fun place to go if you're looking for a "throw-back" steak house...VERY old school...Some of the sides etc. are boring/dated...but the steaks are tasty & the clubby 1950's atmosphere is kinda' fun. If you're looking for an elegant place for a date , go to the Reserve at Harrah's instead...pricier but much more up-to-date food-wise.

Went to Al's for the Sunday Brunch. Very disappointing! All the food was very cheap. Quality is definately lacking. Also the waitress was vertually nonexistent. Worst thing was you get a really small glass of pop that they have the nerve to charge $1.50 for and not even give free refills. Come on....what restaurant doesn't give free refills on pop?? Will not go back!

I like the booths by the bar. Had my girlfriend Linda in there and we satrted necking but the waitress left us alone. The steaks are very good. The ocean snapper was tough. Linda didn't like it.

Actually not bad food...I just get annoyed when places give you a shot glass of pop and make you pay for refills. Even mcdonalds gives free refills...decent restaurants should too.

Great atmosphere...my favorite restaurant ever! However, 1 tip...DO NOT go during the day...the staff is the best in the evenings on the weekends when the older waitresses are there. They are so sweet and don't bother you too much or anything. We went before dinner time once and the waiter was loud and we had to send our steak back 3 times, ...

Ordered veal marsala the worst I have ever had no marsala flavor at all, 2 slices of small mushrooms,tasteless white sauce.The veal was some cheap grade that was run thru a meat tenderizer.Double baked potatoe was fairly good.Salad bar o.k.

The best thing abt Al's is the food. ohhh the steak!!! *drools*
