We had an opportunity to dine at this fine establishment recently. The food was very good but the service was beyond compare. Sandi S. was extremely proficient as well as cordial. Certainly one of the prettiest, helpful waitresses my family has ever had. Listening to my 'hard to please father' she was an angel. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Remember Merichka's for good food and Sandi S. for the very best in service.

Still the best Poorboy in Joliet area.

Okay, maybe not as awesome as once was, but still no better Poorboy in the area, though a little pricey. Leave your diet at the door.
Once upon a time, great restaurant. Now you get a washed out version of the once famous poorboy and onion rings. Management not always that polite either. Been back a few times - I go back when I remember how they use to be with hope, always a disappointment.

Great restaurant. You can dine in casual or semi formal attire & not feel out of place. The food is excellent & the service is also very good. They also have a full tak-out menu.
