I came with my family about a week ago, and the food was very good, and the wait staff was nice too. We wanted the famous Wednesday pork chops, which we came on the wrong Wednesday so had the chicken prepared in the similar fashion. It was delicious but pricey for chicken. All the other dishes seemed pricey too, and as many commented it is noisy.

For the one in Lemont, I live there for the past 19 years. Please Listen, First of all, this place is where you can not hear yourself think. TOO Noisy!!!! Where only the hob snobs who think they are big shots of the little town think they are something better than everybody else.
Also, I ordered the risotto, and it was hard as un-cooked ...

I've been to La Dolce many times in Lemont and have NEVER had a bad experience. In fact, for my 50th birthday, my entire family and I went. It was crowded, but we had enough room and the food was so good that we traded tastes with one another--something we just don't do typically. I liked that it was loud and happy there, and our wait ...

Wouldn't even know where to start here, and have to keep my language under control. Worst service I've ever experienced in over 40 years of dining out. Food was passable as Italian, but I have to agree with the people talking about the amount of salt it contained. I understand one of the cardinal rules of chefs' training is that the ...

The food is very tasty, but it took a really long time to get it!! The server barely came by to ask us if we needed more drinks.......and eventhough the food was good, it is a bit expensive.......lots of snobby types eat there too.....so if you're one of those "keeping up with the Jones'" type of people, you will fit in nicely.........

The same good service and excellent Italian food has has arrived in Western Springs now that "La Dolce Vita" has opened. An oasis in a restaurant desert especially in Italian cuisine.

The food is top of the line delicious and the service is very personable. My only complaint is the noise, but if your looking for a place to have a drink and dine in, then this is definatly a great place to go.

I would not go back to this place. The food is terrible, the service is slow, the atmosphere is noisy and the dining area is very crowded. The chicken parm I ordered tasted like is was boiled chicken with cheese and a very weak red sauce over it. My wife could not even eat one bite of her shrimp scampi. We stopped at White Castle on the way home to get the taste out of our mouths. Avoid if possible.

The food is excellent and the service is great. Don't listen to the people stating that the food is salty or the staff is rude. They are probably the owners of the Italian restaurant across the street that is always empty!

Food is ok if you don't know your Italian. Owners are rude and arrogant. Stories of how rude they are abound in this town. Expect a wait for mediocre food and even then they may decide to not seat you. Just like everything else in this small political village, it's who you know that will determine how you get treated.
