This place has some of the BEST Mexican food in the Area. The Margaritas are also REALLY good and their specialty mole sauce is also very good as well. ...in the spring and summer time they have a great outside eating area too...Not really well know because they are tucked away in a srip mall and the entrance faces the opposite side of the street. Ive NEVER had a problem with service there and ive been going there for years.

Sit outside if possible!! Great service, YUMMY food, nice atmosphere, and the "killer margaritas" are to die for. The machca beef is seasoned to perfection, I got a combo plate and ended up liking my taco (boring, I know) with machca beef even better than my favorite mexican dish, chili relleno. Recommended!!!

GREATEST MARGARITAS EVER, AND A BEAUTIFUL VIEW. THEIR LANDSCAPING IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO INVITING YOU COULD SIT OUTSIDE FOREVER AND NEVER WANT TO LEAVE. THE FOOD IS GREAT...AND WHAT A VARIETY. IT'S OUR FAVORITE MEXICAN RESTAURANT, AND ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SUMMER PLACES TO GO OVERALL.

I would not recommend this restaurant to any one! The service was horrible. Servers took too long to tend to us and the food that was brought to me was cold. I asked for a water to drink and I was given hot water because the server assumed I wanted it to warm up my baby's bottle! Who does that?! On top of that, I ordered a strawberry smoothie ...

My family has been going to El Meson for years for a Sunday brunch. I have found the food to be both authentic and excellent at a fair price. The waitstaff is friendly and cordial and there are always kids which would make it kid and family friendly.
