There is nothing like a fresh dog from Gene & Jude's.
The aroma alone is enough to send you to heaven. The first bite will fill your mouth with a real Taste of what a GREAT dog should be. My Favorite Double Dog No onion extra peppers!!!

Best, best, best dogs in chicago!!!! I moved to Minnesota a year ago, and have to visit Gene and Jude every time i'm in town. The fries are awesome as well! My husband isn't a hot dog person but when we visit Chicago in a few weeks, I know he will love gene and jude as much as I do!!! I can't wait to eat there again!!! I miss gene and jude!! Minnesota has nothing worth calling a hot dog out here!

If Yahoo readers or anybody else thinks this place is a top rated place, then I have some island sand to sell you. I live in the Chicago area, and have eaten there several times....WAY OVERRATED...it's plebian place that sells second rate hot dogs without all the trimmings. There are at least 50 other places in the Chicago area that kills Gene & Jude...my advise is don't waste your gas money on this "cult following" joint.

OK, I'm sold. Great hot dogs are hard to find and some of these reviews have tempted me. It's about 45 miles travel but.................. I'll let y'all know later if it was worth it

Been going there since I was a kid and I still get massive cravings that just can't be helped by any other dog stand. Rubber dogs and slime fryes still rule my heart.

This place is.... well..... just AWESOME. They ONLY TAKE CASH so don't come bearing a debit card.
