I chose this restaurant because of the reviews posted here. I truly enjoy Thai food and was looking for the best place to go on a first date. Believe it or not, this was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and allowed for quite an intimate dinner. Allyson, my date, was very pleased with her PadThai and stated it was "The best I have ever ...

Benjarong Thai is an excellent little restaurant. It is nothing spectacular, but the food is fantastic and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Everytime I am there, the restaurant is full of diners and their carry out service is always hopping. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy Thai food.

Benjarong has some of the best thai food in the area. Their lunch specials should be taken advantage of because you get the most for your money. They have excellent pad thai, fried rice and egg rolls. The restaurant is a very mellow low key environment that can accommodate any size party.

Wonderful Thai food which you can order mild, spicey, or extra hot depending on what you like. The food is not expensive and the restaurant is small, but inviting.

Best Thai Around

I live live within walking distance to three thai resturants but, I will go out of my way to eat at Benjarong. The food is the best, the atmosphere is relaxing and service is always excellent. I love the place and recommend it to everyone I know.
We live about 2 minutes from Benjarong, and it has become one of our favorites. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always prompt. The staff are always attentive (filling water, clearing the table), and always polite. I highly recommend Benjarong for a wonderful Thai dining experience.

I love it!!!!

I think that this is the place for an imtinmate dinner for two.
Since moving out of the Chicago area, Benjarong is perhaps one of the places I miss most. Their small restaurant always seems to be filled, no matter what the time of day, and the service is usually prompt. Their menu offers a whole host of traditional Thai foods, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Hidden away, but worth finding.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/05
When you find this place, you'll feel like it's your own little discovery. It's not visible from Mannheim Road; you have to go in via 22nd Street. The decor is nicely subdued, and has that family-owned feel. (It probably is, but I don't know.) There's plenty of variety on the menu, including many vegetarian options. Almost ...
