THE BEST BREAKFAST. ANYWHERE.One of the things I miss greatly about Chicago is going to Walker Bros in Highland Park. There are multiple locations, but this is the best one. It's about 30-40mins north of downtown. But if you're EVER in the area, you MUST check this place out.OVERALL

Great atmosphere- Even better food!Absolutely the BEST food! How do they do that? It must be the ingredients! The atmosphere is clean and friendly, lines at door sometimes- but they move so quickly and it is definitely worth it! I live South, but make the drive for the pancakes, and have you tried their bacon and sausage? My Dad always gets the blueberry pancakes, but my Mom tries something different every time, and has never been disappointed!! I love this place!!OVERALL

Best breakfast in ChicagoI can't go to Chicago without stopping at Walker Bros for their Apple Pancake...it's been a tradition for me since before college. They have great bacon, and salads and other pancakes. But when I go there its the Apple Pancake for me, and sometimes the mushroom omelette.
