I have been going to Sukura for more than 15 years, and have watched them grow. 2 Things have never changed the food is the best in town and the staff are the best, friendly and the owner is on the floor every day almost. I have had over 200 meals here and never once had a bad dish. I will continue to eat there whenever I get the chance, as will ...

This restaurant is a classic. I got my first taste of Japanese cuisine here at the tender age of 12 and have been going back ever since. The atmosphere is excellent, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is authentically delicious. Honestly, it isn't the best Japanese food (specifically the sushi) I've ever had but it is for sure a place any Japanese food lover should check out

I recently started eating sushi and Sakura is the best I've had. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. Their Caterpiller Rolls are to die for! I highly recommend trying this out if you love sushi.

RANCID SEAFOOD. Go there and have some Uni.
Okay, 1 star for authenticity.
The first time I went I was treated more than terribly. I ordered up some UNI, it WAS SPOILED!

Sakura IS the best place for sushi in the Twin Cities period. The next closest place is in Chicago. End of story.
With an open, pleasant and inviting dining space and a wide variety of dishes, Sakura offers options for both the most reserved and most dring of diners. I particularly enjoyed the spicy salmon rolls and super white albacore, while my brother just got some soup and california rolls. And if raw fish doesnt tickle your tastebuds, theres also many cooked dishes (including noodles, tempura, dumplings, etc) and numerous vegetarian options

Best Japanese

The service was great and they have such a huge selection of traditional japanese appetizers and their sukiyaki is awesome. I even saw a few wild players their after the game.
Whether going for sushi for lunch with coworkers or going out to supper with family and friends, Sakura's is the place to dine. The sushi and ambience are both superb. I absolutely love the salmon shiake and of course, the sake! Sakura's was the first time I ever tried raw fish. To my surprise, I love raw fish. Or maybe it was the fact I loved Sakura's raw fish! I've been coming back again and again.

The service was HORRIBLE as was the food! The waitress became enraged when I tipped only 25 cents! There was a reason the tip was so small, because the service was!!!
