american chinese, the owner's family used to have a restaurant in chinatown down in chicago in the early 1900s. the best part is that they are willing to tell you how they cook the food! some stuff comes with weird gravy, and once my fried rice was burned, otherwise they'd get 5 out of 5. still highly recommended
