I heard it has greatly improved since the Kubsch's owned it. The Fat Seagull was a great place with awesome people when Nellie owned it, but then when it was bought out by the Kubsch's it turned into a real pit. It was unfortunate, and caused almost all of the former regulars to spend their money elsewhere.
I look forward to seeing if the new owners can bring back the old Seagull crowd and atmosphere.OVERALL -

Went way downhillWhat a difference a new owner makes. The Fat Seagull went from a decent place with great service to a pastel colored dump with the worst group of service people in Manitowoc. It takes forever to get a drink and nobody comes to your table or greets you like the previous owner. The time I ordered food the cook put out his cigarette and proceded to ...2 of 3 Yahoo!
