My husband and I were just there for breakfast after a weekend getaway. Food was awesome, maybe a bit pricey ($7.99) for breakfasts but it fed us for 2 meals. The pie and fresh breads are awesome. We bought some to take home with us.

The food is acceptable and the service is average/good, but I still recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Baraboo because the pie is phenomenal!!!

I wouldn't go there for a date or anything you want to be intimate or elegant, but it's a great place to stop after a day of hiking at Devil's Lake. Just be sure to save room for dessert, because you'll definitely want some pie!

I've lived in Baraboo for a couple years now..and log cabin is a great place to eat..I completly disagree with "Fish" They have good waitresses..great prime rib on saturdays..and as for the noise level...thats because there's lots of customers! It's always full because everyone loves the food!

Prices aren't low I will tell ya that. The portions are..eh, "decent" size. Nothing to braig about.
Overall the food is ok.
The noise level in that place. WOW! Bring some ear plugs. It's awful.
The wait staff mostly consists of teenagers or at least under 23ish who you can clearly tell don't care if they have a job or ...

This place is just plain awesome!! Always clean, very friendly waitstaff and you just can't say enough about the food.

living in baraboo log cabin is not my first choice.
they cranked their prices way up, poor soup choices. seem to to have the same soups for weeks at a time.
when they are busy it is so noisey you can't here your self think
it used to be the locals choice, but not no more

We HAVE to eat here whenever we are in the area!
Great place- should be more like it!

That's about all I can say that's good about this place. I live nearby, drive past it almost daily, and I'm not going back.
Have been there several times and don't know why I returned, (except it's a convenient place to meet another party-easy to find). There are many restaurants and supper clubs in the area that beat this ...
