Worst Mexican food I have ever had! Your better off going to Taco Bell!!!!

My husband and I stopped here - hungry and in search of good Mexico food. We ordered enchiladas and soft tacos. They did not even have "red" sauce for the enchiladas. While the service was friendly and nice, the food was awful. Look for another alternative in town.

I am 9 months pregnant and was craving some spicy mexican food. my husband and i stopped here because we heard how great the food was....it wasn't. It was by far the least flavorful and most overpriced mexican food i have ever had. there was no kick to anything, even the rice and beans were blah. service was good and friendly, but i certainly wouldn't return for the food.

Hernandez is a well-loved treasure in Delavan. It is a great place for those that do not speak Spanish to go to eat great Mexican food without feeling uncomfortable about the language barrier. Also the American part of the menu is great for those with kids. Children are given extra attention, often with free homemade cookies and ice cream for dessert. Great atmosphere and very involved, friendly ownership. Highly recommended!

The food is the best in the area. Authentic Mexican food served here for over 40 years. Service is excellent with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food with healthy portions at a very economical price. The 4 salsas with the endless tortillla chips is a nice touch. The service could be more attentive.

Adequate Mexican Food, good tequila. Cheap and plentiful. Authentic.

Small business started as a Mexican grocery store and over the last 18 years has turned into great local gem . Homemade chips and 4 different homemade salsa's, all food made from fresh ingredients. Authentic food, very generous portions, great value!!!!!

Hernandez is the Mexican food restraunt I recommend in this area above all others. Great specials, excellent food, and really good salsa and chips. I work around a lot of visitors to this area, and I always recommend Hernandez for Mexican food. Try it!
