What a great place to eat. Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding food, and attentive service. It was so good, I even went there a second time during my recent vacation. Hope to return there again someday.

Dons drive in is great!! The burgers are huge and the chocolate shake is fab!

I like Don's and their shakes are amazing but I wish they would just put a gosh-darned chicken sandwich on their menu. :)

After 10 years of driving to T.C. to mall shop we finally stopped at Don's - BIG MISTAKE. Every waitress I saw had on a filthy uniform, the fries were very ho-hum and cold to boot, and the burger was so-so. dons drive in is a step into the past it rocks my sox lol it is a fun loving drive in with great food the food is a little pricey but well worth it and it is not a dump i will agree with hamburgerlover that shakes are 7 bucks but that is because they r huge and use a half gallon of ice cream and real fruit i love dons and they have fries by the carload that r the best ever i love all there food they rock!!!!

Shakes are one of a kind!

Have lived in TC for 27 years - been to Don's many, many times. The last few the service was less than good (really OLD, slow and unfriendly woman waiting tables) - it was dirty. Food was good but not as in the past. 50's atmosphere is unique and fun, though.

My parents are from Traverse City and whenever we visit family, we make sure to visit Don's too! The food is so awesome! The onion rings are delicious and the staff is always friendly! I can remember when I was a little kid I always begged for the kids meal so I could get it delivered in a cool pink cadillac!! I think they still serve them that way!!
