The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Its not centrally located near the downtown, which is the one downside. Its a La Quinta, so you give up some amount of charm, but you get clean and comfortable, a nice pool, friendly people working there. I would prefer to be closer to downtown, but I would definitely stay again. It is about a 5 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles.
Although not centrally located, it's a fine hotel. Brand new (or at least looks like it), very clean, and nicely done. It is super quiet, the rooms are comfortable, the beds are great. The fitness room was not too good, it has only a few machines and when we were there, one was out of order, eliminating 25% of the equipment. The breakfast was a standard "free" breakfast -- make your own waffles, etc., it was fine.
