In December 2006 my wife and I visited Fontana California to attend the NASCAR races at the California Speedway. We had a delightful experiance around the corner at the Oasis Motor Lodge.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and less than 1 mile from the speedway, an important feature if you are drinking beer all day at the races.
