seagull my homesome people think i pay 2000 taka and i will enjoy every thing, i am sure that they never see inside a five star hotel and never stay. a five star hotel don,t need to cover its beautiful floor by carpet.6 of 6 Yahoo! Would definitely not return to the Sea Gull HotelI stayed at Sea Gull Hotel for 3 nights from Jan 29-Feb 01, 2009 at the Sea Gull Hotel, Cox's Bazaar and was told by hotel reception that it is a 5 star deluxe hotel. The hotel is not even close to 5 star and more likely a 3 star hotel. The rooms are tiny and have basic furnishings. They don't even have a carpet in the rooms and the ...12 of 14 Yahoo! Clean and safe, but not 5-starDon't be misled by the 5-star rating. This is by no means an international rating. The first review sums it well about general services. Nonetheless, hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. I came back from a field trip one day and left my camera in the hotel-arranged van. Really dissapointingFirst of all this hotel is not a 5 star hotel. Actually not even close to 3 star.
Under staffed, not well-trained, unprofessional, very poor breakfast, Food quality is below standard. We ordered "Iced Coffee". They served us hot black coffee and asked us to put some ice in it. Expected lot more better.Service : Staff training required . But they tried to provide the service.

Nice Accommodation, can not wait to go back....I liked it. I could not expect better than this. First, I thought it should not be five star, I felt floor were not much clean. But when we (15 of us) came back from beach with dirty feet with wet clothing and went to the room like that i felt sorry for the cleaning people. I noticed they started wipe right the way.
