My room was really small, I hardly could find a place for my bag. The window faced a street which gave endless unpleasant noise night and day. As long as I understand other rooms have problems with noise too. The whole surrounding area is night clubs, cabares and bars, so the sleeping during the night is impossible.

Villa Germanoff was fantastic. I stayed with my family and occupied all 4 rooms. Facilities were great and of a high standard. Location is terrific, only 5 mins from anywhere you want to go in the old part of the city. It is close to all tourist attractions including the lake. The view is also lovely. We have spent more days in Ohrid than we have planed in the first place, just because of our incredible room and its owner's excellent suggestions. It is not located on the lake side. In fact, you can only take a small view of the lake from far away! Now I am watching another accommodation in Ohrid, worth to try instead of this one!!!

Past year we (my wife and myself) spent a week in the Piano apartment, and the stay was amazing. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, either early in the morning or late in the evening. The place is perfectly placed for sightseeing Ohrid old town, for example St. Sophia church is at 100m ...

Not as good as everyone makes out
No air cinditioning in the room I stayed, so meant window opened and woken every night by people coming back from night clubs, room cramped can only get out one side of a double bed, other rooms seem to have to share a bathroom. If this is supposed to be five stars what is a two star like!
