jusgt a wonderful place!! I went there to stay just 2 days.. I was there A WEEK!!! i could not go away... I had to!!! and many people were there did the same! cheap, good fod and drink and nice people!!

This place is like a resort but at backpacker prices. It is well maintained, great bar and helpful friendly owners who will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay with them. They give great advice on trips into the Delta too. Once of the best backpackers I have ever been to.
I based myself at Back to the Bridge for about two months, departing and returning about five times - each return felt more like coming home.
The situation, overlooking hippo pool and Maun river valley, is idyllic. Beautiful open thatched bar/ eating area, massive fig trees to relax under, small but functional swimming pool.

Best camping place for backpackers

It's right by a hippo pool so it's a beautiful place to camp (camping is about $5/night). If you don't have a tent, you can rent a tent or stay in one of the nicer single/double tents already set up with all the basics (bed, dresser, etc.).
