Sunsets, elephants and rhinosThis outstanding rustic camp on Lake Kariba should be on every travel "hotlist". We spent 3 wonderful days/nights in April with Jenny and her daughter Megan as our able hostesses.
The rooms were lovely, the food excellent, the wildlife outstanding and all in the most superb setting - what more can you ask for ?!

The food & service was excellent, great location, great wildlife viewing, accommodation well sorted & comfortable....Where else can you get a morning call by a black rhino at your door?

Hoping to go back again soon!!This was my second visit! It was just as wonderful as the first! Even considering the situation in Zim, The Lodge was a haven. The food was great, hospitality was wonderful! Two beds in the chalet, hot water in your room at will, beds were quite comfortable, water is safe, and bottled is provided if you prefer. Incredible Place!!Wonderful place to safari! Jenny (hostess) was just wonderful, food was fabulous, and the setting was beyond words! Watching ele's drink from your bed was just wonderful! One of the few places where you can photo safari for Black Rhino as sadly there are not many left.
