I'm tourist from Germany, after read many good reviews of Ocean stars 2 hotel. i decided to book a room in this hotel but all reviews about this hotel were post by owner and the hotel staff. When i were there they still did good review, That a small hotel with very old furniture like use for homeless man in Kongo, africa.

The staff is great here, they are so nice to the customers. And the rooms are ok here. The rooms are cleaned very well each day. The price quality is very well. So when ever you come to Hanoi Visit this Hotel.

Be wary of the owner (David) scare and intimidation techniques to make you take up tour packages with them. WORST still they can "kick" you out of the hotel room if you are paying lower than the "new comers" to the hotel....

Rooms where good and the staff helpful. I booked two tours through the hotel, one to Sapa and one to Hulong Bay. Both tours were good value with the boats and accommodation very good. I had an open ticket to come back from Cat Ba island and Sapa and I found this an easy way to get around.
