We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge while doing some Poconos skiing at Camelback Mountain - found it thru http://www.camelbackmountainskier.com. It was great to get back after a long day of skiing and relax with the kids in the indoor water park.
This was the best family vacation we have ever had hands down. Beats Universal Studios no problem. Will go back again and again. Food was terrific, rooms clean, employees friendly. Totally awesome!

Expensive, but think about what you get...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/09
There is no doubt that Great Wolf Lodge is an expensive getaway. Our family of four, kids 9 and 4, spent $240 a night for a basic room. While this seems like a lot, it includes three days admission to the water park. For most parks that would be about $200 or more. I also like the fact that the water park is indoors, so the sun and the need for ...
This was our second visit. First was with our three y/o and this time with a 7 m/o and the now five y/o. We learned from our first visit about the price of food and length of stay. We stayed for three nights this trip and that is just the right stay. Only ate at the buffet once for dinner and once for breakfast just for our daughter. Otherwise ...
For teh second year in a row, a large group of hacidic Jewish folks from NY took over the hotel on thuis particular weekend. Dont get me wrong, I can get along with many types of people, but these folks throw cigarettes and food into the pools and have incredibly foul mouths. Management did nothing. I had forgotten about it happening last year, and ...

Worst hotel experience ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/08
Booked a suite for 1 night for over $700. Room has not been ready for 4 hours and they wouldn't tell us when it will be ready. We dug out our swimming trunks at the parking lot and went to the pool but no lockers were available. Later on they admitted the hotel was overbooked and would give us a lesser place. It's also extremely noisy everywhere in the hotel. Don't waste your time and money.
Our family just returned from a 2 night stay last weekend and all i have to say is WOW.... The kids had a blast and my wife and I even had a chance to relax at the spa (possibly our first "date" this year!)
What better way to spend a cold PA winter weekend with the fam?
They had everything you could possibly need at the lodge. 2 places ...

A GREAT PLACE IF YOU LIKE SLEEPING WITH BUGS!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/08
My family went for a weekend trip and from the moment we walked in the hotel room it seemed dirty. I started to itch and scratch but I tried to brush it off as nothing, but I started to see bites on my body and as I tried to sleep I woke up with tiny bugs on my FACE AND BODY. This was very scary. The hotel offered a new room but my family lefted ...
I recently visited the lodge on 11/21/08 and had to leave with my family in the middle of the night due to an infestation of bed bugs. I awaken in the middle of the night covered with bug bites, my children and myself. The staff was well aware of the problem but continues to allow families to stay there as the try to control the infestation. The ...
