For a 8 month period I traveled to Chula Vista for work, and I stayed at El Primero at least 3 days a week for 8 months. This bed and breakfast is fantastic! Spotless rooms, fantastic comfortable beds, and the owners are the nicest and most attentive I've ever encountered. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for both work and pleasure stays--

My room was wonderful - clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The owners are very attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. About the only other things I would have liked are a ceiling fan and a refrigerator.

It's very nice and cosy. The service, breakfast and ambience deserves lots of appreciation. Very soon you feel at home here. I am really looking forward to be a visitor to Elprimero again.

I stayed at the El Primero for two weeks for work. I had actually planned on staying somewhere closer to where I would be working during the second week, but decided the drive was worth it to stay at the El Primero. There was a problem with my room the first day, but Pie took care of it right away. First class care and service.

I stayed here for the first time in August of 2007. The staff were very helpful and friendly and remembered me by name. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and everything was clean. Access to my room was easy at any time and parking was great. The continental breakfast was fresh and nice; however, I am vegan so it was somewhat limited for me--no big deal. I highly recommend it and will stay there again.

I almost hesitate to write what I really feel about El Primero Hotel, because it is so positive that you might think this is a fake. It isn’t. I just spent three nights at this boutique hotel with a group of five professional co-workers.
