The campsite wasn't too bad but just happy we got 2 sites because they are very small! I liked being able to pitch the tent next to the river/creek. We did have a good time on the trip and enjoyed the hiking trails and innertubing down the river but disappointed with the staff they seem to be lack a daisical and very uninterested in helping ...

This campground is run by very friendly, kind people and is located in a perfect launching point for exploring. Whenever I go to Big Sur, this is my campground!
Each site is nestled in the trees, some sites are more private than others. As I do not have kids, I prefer a quiet campground. If you're like me, pick any site away from the ...
We just love this campground and have been going there every year for about 5 years now. It is a very family oriented campground. Lots of things for kids to do --inner-tubing down the river and swimming, basketball, snack bar, ice cream social nights. Campsites are an okay size, most all are shaded by the trees. Very well kept up place!
Campsites are too crowded, pictures on internet indicate that they are comfortable when in fact you can reach out and touch your neighbor. Due to the size of the campground you have absolutely no privacy and when they say quiet time at 10, they mean go to bed. Would not recommend especially with the beautiful State Parks in same vacinity.
