Five couples have been visiting this wonderful motel every January for the past 8 years. We have never found Barbara to be anything but friendly and helpful, we think the motel is fabulous (even the tiny showers) and the area is beautiful.

We have stayed here many times,great price but hope you are checking in when Barbra's not there!She is very hard to deal with! Next time I book our room,I'll make sure I'm not dealing with her, I'll wait and call back.Same kind of problem that Debbie had,my family did also!!Great place,bad service!!

I love the non-stop views - I love the large bedrooms - I love the fully stocked kitchens - the great tv's - the great employees - the nice smelling sheets and towels - it is very very clean - anything you want they will assist you with - walk everywhere - breathing in the ocean from my room - overlooking the beach! We stayed there twice this summer. The first time, just my husband and I went. It was wonderful. We loved it so much (even though a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and no one bothered to turn it off for 30 minutes) that we booked for the following week to bring our kids. Let's just say, if my husband and I can't book a room here with a parking spot, we don't visit Capitola.
You really can't beat the ocean view for the price, even during the high season.
It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find long-term parking in Capitola.....Most of the rooms come with a parking space.

I've been staying at Harbor Lights for several years now. The views are the best in town. Can't beat the location and/or the rates. I'll be back again soon.
