This place is a DUMP...it used to be a clean little "mom & pop" motel, but whoever bought them out are LOSERS... We stayed there a couple of years ago and it was a good bargain room....We were told we didn't have to make a reservation...there were plenty of rooms...All were taken up by oilfield workers...We didn't even try to argue with them. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!
I made reservation there 1 week before my trip to Carlsbad. The only thing the clerk asked for was my cell phone #. Said he would hold the room. Called back 3 days before trip....They lost my reservation...said they had no more rooms. Friend said he stayed there and there were at least 5 vacant rooms....Don't waste your time here....it's in the worst location and there are other "decent" motels in town.
This reminded me of a scene from cops. Vagrants drinking in outside the rooms, people just "hanging out" in the parking lot. I actually demanded a refund, as I was scared that if we stayed we would not have a car in the morning. I can't comment on how the room looked but the outside said enough for me.
Very clean. Inexpensive. Refrigerator in the room. On the main drag through town, yet quite and restful. This is a mom & pop owned small motel with extremely clean rooms and good beds. One of the best local motels I've been to in a very long time! Free wireless internet in rooms.

Very clean. Near the Fiesta Drive Inn Movie theater. Inexpensive. Refrigerator in the room. Across from excellent barbecue restaurant. This is a mom & pop owned small motel with extremely clean rooms and good beds. Don't miss a classic Americano experience at the Fiesta Drive Inn, just around the corner.
