When my partner and I checked in for a weeks stay the first thing we noticed were the spiderwebs all over the place. The hallways, outside doorways, windows all were covered with spiders in their webs. After a couple of days we called the office to complain about them and were told that they would be removed by the next morning...they weren't. ...

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. It was great. Located around city life. I believe it was one the best vacations I've ever had. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Our experience at the Blue Heron was great. We spent 12 days there and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. The only complaint is that the walls are thin, you can hear who is next door and overhead. However, with the exception of one night all was quiet by 11:00pm. By the way both pools were heated when we were there in December 2008.

Keep in mind that this is not a full service hotel, it is condo's that are being rented out. It is likely one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. It is so much nicer to stay at as opposed to Disney's resorts that offer no privacy for Mom and Dad or any other family members and is at least three times the price. As far as ...

Nicest hotel we have ever been in. Great pool, Kind of a low key non-busy place. Great deal, pools were always really clean, the free internet is really nice considering the last place we stayed at right around the corner charged $10 for 24 hours. mini-putt out front along with a buffett pizza place. good location.

Whomever said "there's no place like home" has never stayed at the Blue Heron Resort! This place was amazing and accessible to all parks. We did not like:
1. Housekeeping was not included in the room rate.
2. Staff seemed untrained; our Sea World tickets were delivered to the front desk before our arrival but nobody seemed to be able to figure out a) if they provided the service of accepting our tickets or b) where in the hotel reception area they might be.
