It is my favorite place ever to eat, I am driving 80 miles this weekend just to eat there for my birthday! That has to say something about the place!

Has good food, but the management sucks. Yelling at the help in front of customers is WRONG. And Banning former employees when the economy is so bad is not very good business. If you thing you were banning 1 customer thing again. Not only will I ever go there again but at least 50 of my family and friends will never step foot in there again.

The service was great. Unfortunately the food fell short. When the beans and rice are the best thing about the restaurant...well you get it. The waitress knew her stuff though... she pushed the appetizer like a pro.It had absolutely no flavor just like the rest of the meal.

I used to go to El Chap before they tried to ChiChi-ize it. What used to be really really good many years passed is just good now. I am not saying just as good, because it certainly has lost some of the old flavors that we swarmed El Chap for. The worst thing they did is try to manage the people, lines and all. The marguerita has long lost its ...

  • It's just OK.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
Here we are in 2007 in the city of Adrian, Michigan and new mexican restaurants have opened up. We no longer have to settle for the average mexican dining experience. Although The Grasshopper (El Chapulin) isn't bad, they stand to gain some improvement. This is an old building that isn't too festive and the food is not remarkable but ...

  • Over priced but.....

they do have a serve liquor. They food has steady declined over the past few years and is mediocre at best. They would not be as popular as they are but they are the only Mexican food in town that can/does serve beer.
