We have our family reunion here a couple of times a year. It saves driving all the way to Detroit from Chicago and St. Joe, Michigan. The staff is always welcoming and makes sure we have a table located where we can be a "noisy family" if we want to. Great food, too.

This is one of the best places to eat in Michigan! Whenever I am in the area we stop here to eat and have never been dissapointed. Great atmosphere, Outstanding food, & great service (The London Broil for lunch is fantastic). A little more money to eat there, but worth evry penny......
You are on a road trip and you see a sign off of the interstate that tells you to go to a restaurant that has been standing since 1909...you have to get off the road and go there. I was only let down to find out that the restaurant was not a traditional German Restaurant...but the food was excellent and creative. There were two dinning rooms to ...
Growing up in this area I had always heard how wonderful this place is. I finally tried it and was greatly disappointed. The food was WAY overpriced! Especially since it really wasn't any better than less expensive places. The waitress was very cold and unapprochable and never checked to see if we were happy or wanted anything else. I will NEVER eat there again!!!

This is a very historic establishment with very good food but also the highest prices in town. It's a "Republican" kind of place for the city's upper crust and well-off visitors. Skip the meatballs, they're overrated. Instead, focus on Great Lakes fish, poulty, or cuts of beef. Winston's Pub has the potential to be one ...
Dinner at Schuler's was magical and the memory has stayed with us for a long time, carrying us through the long hard days of my husband's sudden severe illness.

good food, cute town, a little $$
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/05
Went to Marshall for shopping and dinner. Were told we had to go to Schuler's. Ok, food was good, service great, prices were pretty high. Dinner for 2 without liquor was pretty expensive. No dessert. An appitizer, 2 entrees. (Which did come with soup or salad) was over 65.00 bucks. Also went there for brunch for New Years day and spent the same amount on brunch. Food was considerably better for brunch. Thought the service was GREAT.
