I have worked at Clara's for 7 years.They are doing the best they can do, but quality is going downhill. Fired kitchen manager and now-all reheated Gordon Food Service Food. VERY dirty kitchen.Look at your glass before you drink. DO NOT sit on the toliet seat. They never get cleaned. Look. Way overpriced.Clara's chips cost 2.99$, but only costs 72 c to make.Please, come look, but save your money. Not worth it.

Clara's is one of our two favorite restaurants in the area. There is such a wide variety of choices on the menu, that everyone can find something. One of my absolute favorites is the calzone. Try it as an alternate to pizza! I personally like that you can also get a fruit medley as a side dish and the Clara's chips are the best! It's a great family-owned restaurant rather than the "chain" experience.

Love going here with a group of friends for a girls night or for someone's bday. It's a nice place to get dressed or even to go casual. The food is amazing for a decent price.

My family LOVES Clara's. The kids love eating in the train car and squeal w/ delight if a train happens to go by! The food is fantastic w/ generous portions! I have had all of their pasta dishes - YUMMY! And, the atmosphere is great! My only complaint would be that of the servers, not the best - but for a great meal and wonderful scenery, that can be overlooked.

I've been to Clara's at least four times a year for the last 10 years and every time they met my expectations completely. Great place to take guests who are new to the Lansing area.

The restaurant has such a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed our food. This is a "definatly will go back" restaurant.

The atmosphere is fun. It's a renovated train depot, complete with a boxcar out front. I've never had a bad serving experience, even during busy weekday lunches. The food is very good, but not spectacular; however, I've been there many times with groups of people with varied palates, and no one has ever come away unhappy, so I keep returning. I, personally, love their baked brie.

I love the atmosphere of Clara's and often take friends there for drinks, but I have to say the food is lacking, unless you really like bland American-style food! I love you Clara's, but your menu needs some fresh (and more meatless) options :)
