My family and I took a road trip from our home in Sloan, Nevada to New York City over the last couple days... stopped in Frankenmuth along the way. We went to T-Dubs for breakfast on Saturday, August 15th and had a so-so experience.

Very classy, eclectic atmosphere! Not the tacky Mom & Pop Diner we were expecting!
    Bright colors, great art ...

Breakfast is fair at best. Sandwiches are good. Had the pizza. Depends on the time of day. Food is much better at dinner than at lunch & much faster.
I have been there a few times. I definitely recommend going for dinner, but not lunch or breakfast.

    An update on May 17.
Don't eat here. It was lousy!! Cold food. Slow service. Flat pop!!

The "cod" dinner is a fabricated frozen fish of questionable origin. We got 3 of the smallest pieces of oily fish. The fries were cold and tasted re-fried. The "salad" came with bits of brown lettuce, soggy onions, mushy cherry tomatoes.
The pizza was the worst ever. Undercooked. The toppings were piled in the middle, ...

Food is mediocre at best and expensive. No care is put into the food. The language being thrown around by the staff is deplorable.
This is not a family environment.

The food is fair, with high prices. The food is too inconsistent. Sometimes very good, sometimes lousy. The person that said the reviewers got up on the wrong side of the bed was 1/2 right. The portion sizes vary from day to day. The quality varies from day to day. The person that said they need to hire a cook was also 1/2 right. Right now, ...

Our family has been to T-Dubs many times, and every time, it's great food and great fun. The menu is delightful, but the food is even better. From to breakfast to dinner, T-Dubs offers our family a variety of foods from Polish sausage on a pizza to a Greek omelette with feta cheese. The burgers are juicy and delicious, including the Vito ...

14 egg omlette. Served on a turkey platter. Breakfast pizza's. Sandwich's so big you cant finnish. Veggie pizza pies. BBQ chicken pizza pies. The list goes on. Slow service? Bad Breakfast? Never had a problem. Sounds like the reviewers got up on the wrong side of the bed. T.Dubs has the BEST pizza in the state of Michigan. Seriously take the drive over to Dubs. You wont be disappointed.

    7 of us ate there (T Dub's) for breakfast....4 kids, 3 adults.
Would not recommend. Never saw such a bad excuse for hash browns...it was a store bought hash brown patty that was broken up in chunks and put on a small plate...the kids would not finish it. My scrambled eggs were greasy..bacon was chewy, pancakes were a odd color, not fluffy or ...

The Lamplighter has excelent breakfast food. I had the blueberry pancakes. They were loaded with blueberries and were so big i could only eat half of the order. I had an orange juice which was served in a huge glass. Eat here... you won't be disappointed.
