Fishbone's should NEVER say they are New Orleans Like. They don't even know what a Porboy is suppose to look like. A Roast Beef Porboy is sliced thin, and covered w/gravy, and if you want lettuce and tomato, you say you want it dressed, that includes mayo. I wouldn't buy crawfish from them but the gumbo was good, and the ambiance is very French Quarter. Love the decor, and the service.

I'll never go back...the service was sub-par and the manager was clueless. I was hoping the food would be spectacular and make up for it. Unfortortunately I was disappointed. Wasn't bad, just wasn't great and definitely overpriced. We had reservations that were not honored and they refused to split the bill for any size party. Fine, just tell your customer that when they reserve for a large group. BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!

Never take a large group to Fishbones! I made my reservations rather easily, but when part of our party showed up, the manager said that she talked to me the day before to cancel our reservation. THIS NEVER HAPPENED! Why would 21 people show up for a reservation if we had canceled it? Basically the manager had messed up and decided to take it ...

The atmosphere and the food is great. I'm a Washington DC resident and I felt more at home in Detroit. If your looking for great food, music and just good people then look no further...Fishbone's has it all!

I enjoy the fact its downtown, therefore we get a melting pot of different cultures, I love that.In fact that was one of the things I went to ...

Sunday brunch has finally become memorable. Unfortunately, the memory is of a tasteless, classless, overpriced dining (and I use the word loosely) experience! Granted, $24 is not a lot to pay for a good meal, but that pricetag becomes down right hurtful to pay when the buffet menu selections are mostly average to bad. Adding insult to injury was ...
