The service and wait were so horrible that the food lost its flavor. We had reservations and waited 25 mins and then waited 50 minutes for our food. We ate in 15 mins since we had to leave for an appt. Additionally, their attitude was that they were busy, which they were, and that it is my problem...no apologize.

Some of the food is good, but on average is way too expensive. The service, however, is horrible. The host was rude and although we got our food quickly we sat for forty-five minutes after our plates had been cleared waiting for a check while watching our waiter talk to another man. I have never not tipped a server because it's a hard job and I've been there, but this was truly the worst service I have ever seen.

This is one of my fave lunch spots! The Zingermans bread makes all their sandwiches to die for, the menu is spectacular and I love everything I've tried here!

The food is of average quality. I had the mushroom pasta, and tasted a great deal of my girlfriend's herb-rubbed brick oven roasted chicken, and had the banana crepes on my first visit - in a word (or initials rather): "OK.". My second trip (which I now regret) included tasting the filet of salmon with leeks and the lamb chops -- ...

The food is good, but the service is poor. I also found excessive the charges for extra syrup ($1.25) and cheese added to an omelette ($4).

The other users are right the price is high and the food is okay.

I'm a vegan so I do enjoy stopping in on my walk to grab a pastry or two.

  • great for brunch

Their waffles, Turkish eggs, and Hediye's breakfast are excellent, though food *is* a bit pricey. They've also got good teas and cappuccinos. We go most weekends. For dessert, the creme brulee is generously portioned and tasty.

  • Do not go there.

First of all: food looks ugly and taste bland, but expensive; second: service needs to be improved. This place is good, if you want to spend your money for nothing.

  • An excellent restaurant
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/06
A somewhat eclectic mix of coffee house and restaurant - during the day, good food with a mostly informal feel. At night, the place dresses up a bit. Not cheap, but good quality food for the price, and generally very creative dishes. The interior can be a bit loud at times.
