I dined here after a friend's recommendation. I cannot speak on other dining times, but the Sunday brunch was the most pleasant experience! There was a live band, great food, and a nice atmosphere. A chef even prepared us made to order omelets. My boyfriend who is never a fan of any buffets even raved about it. The menu is a tad pricey but in my opinion well worth the money.

My husband took me here for my birthday. The restaurant has the romantic atmosphere but that's about it! The food was awful! My husband ordered a steak and couldn't finish it! I ordered chicken and I could have cooked it better! We were very disappointed especially after spending $85! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Almost did not go to Gandy Dancer because of the reviews, but a recent positive newspaper article about the restaurant pulled us in. Greeting when we enter was friendly, food (seafood trio & perch)was excellent and the desserts (chocolate mousse & cheesecake) were exquisite. The service from start to finish couldn't have been better. They have apparently been reading the reviews and did something about it. We'll definitely be back.

This was the worst dinner and the worst dining experience my family and I have had in a long time! We came here for my Mother’s birthday and to shop for a place to have a rehearsal dinner for our upcoming wedding. With this said, the only thing memorable about this place was getting out!! The cocktails were pathetic, the wine was mediocre at ...

This is a fun place to sit and watch the trains go by (the train engineers even wave to you), but if you are a vegetarian, eat before you come. We were promised that the chef "could make anything" but after quizzing our waiter we discovered that "anything" is a mediocre pasta primavera with either white sauce or red sauce ...

We absolutely loved our first time at the Gandy Dancer. They treated us as if we were royalty. The food was great and the service the best! Granted, the menu is a bit pricey, but we will return. Well worth it.

I just can't believe that all the 1 star review are reliable! we had the complete opposite impression: the food and the service are the best in Ann Arbor, and since we came from LA and we know a thing or two about restaurants - Gandy Dancer is a GOOD one!

The tables are too close to each other, the filet had turned and I got food poisoning! The manager Erin was rude to us and appeared intoxicated. We will never return! The quality of food is comparable to a Joe's Crab Shack.

For what they do to parties at graduation time, the owners of the Gandy Dancer should be imprisoned. They pack the restaurant to its limits, even going so far as to bring in outdoor tents to accomodate more diners. Because they're so busy, the service is slow, and the quality of the food is terrible. At my sister's graduation, more than ...

Awesome Sunday Brunch! Great atmosphere! I was surprised to read one of the other reviews that said that vegetarians couldn't find anything to eat. I'm a vegetarian andhave found the staff to be more than accomodating to my diet- omitting meat from entrees or making something especially for me. Not only that, but every time I've had them omit meat from a dish, they always charge me less for it- without having to ask.
