NOTE: I'm a Detroiter and I've been to a lot of blues clubs in the U.S., Europe and else where, and though I may seem harsh, hopefully my critique motivates those in charge to "step it up" an make Memphis Smoke better.

Just average, I got like 12 french fries with my sandwich, service was good, food was like I said just averageOVERALL

I think Memphis Smoke just stopped caring, and it shows in their food. Saying it's mediocre is being kind. My brisket was dry and tough with no flavor other than the "Open Pit" poured on top. My fries tasted like they were made the day before and reheated. And CANNED green beans!?

It's hard to find really good ribs. Until we do, Memphis Smoke will do. Their ribs are okay - better than we could do at home, but nothing special. The sides are good but the whole thing seems like a midwesternized ribs place.
We've eaten in several times and service has been inconsistent - sometimes terrific, sometimes really bad; it depends on the individual.OVERALL -
We went to Memphis Smoke today (Saturday) for a late lunch. When we arrived there were only three or four tables of diners in the place, with another four or five people at the bar, so it was not busy at all. I don't get itMaybe it's because I went at lunchtime, but I didn't think it was anything special. For being a BBQ type restaurant, my BBQ Beef was dry and served on a 2 day old sub bun. The service was also a little sub-standard.1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

Diva Night July 1Every month my friends and I have what we call a "Diva's night out!" This month we chose to go to Memphis Smoke. It was great! The music was great, the service was great. No BluesMy family took me there for Fathers Day. We ate on the Decke level. The waitress were tire at best. I asked about the Fathers Day Special , she did not have a clue, and seemed upset when asked. I thought that this was a Blues restaurant, The radio played Rock the entire time I was there.
