Okay - since no one else is brave enough to mention this then I will...yes the food is tasty - but if you knew how filthy the kitchen is there - I guarantee you wouldn’t eat there. While I know every restaurant has bugs, mice, etc - I can tell you b/c I worked there and it's really, really dirty.

I love Redcoat Tavern. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is excellent, and I think Redcoat has the best hamburgers in Michigan. The menu has a variety of entrees, something for everyone. I've never been disappointed and I've been going to Redcoat Tavern since 2002.

This place is just flat out "the best hamburger" in the world!! Get a side order of their hand dipped onion rings along with their awesome and creamy clam chowder. It's a small place and really hard to get in with less than an hour wait, but they do carry out...so just take it home!

A gotta go kind of place. Dark, comfy, relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered when it's time for a long martini lunch! I grew up as a youngster in Birmingham and used to frequent with my Grandmother. This is one place I won't pass up when in the North Metro. Great everything!

Be prepared to wait...put your name on the list early cuz this place is BUSY. I have waited at least 45min everytime. Really good burgers
