If you live downtown or Broad Ripple and you're a follower then Yat's is for you. Mediocre Creole offerings driven by hype. The truth? Great cajun food!!! I don't think you will find a coupon or advertisment on this place. It's all word of mouth. I have to say this place gets high marks from for food, service, and price.

OMG I love this restaurant!! I was introduced to this great food around 2002 by brother, and I was hooked on the first bite. Even though I no longer live in Indy because I joined the army 7 years ago, When I go home on leave I make sure I stop there at least twice before I go back to my home station. Not a bad dish in the restaurant. The food is wonderful, the service quick, and everything's very reasonably priced. I'm a Houston native, and it's a welcome taste from the bayous near home.
Yat's in Indy has some of the best Cajun food.I loved the food, staff is very good.It is a great experience all around.I highly recomend Yat's Restaurant. The Gumbo was really good.
Great food! Savory cajun-style sauces with hearty meat, seafood and veggies covering a plate of rice. Neighborhood atmosphere with Mardi Gras theme. Fast service. Always a pleasure. Love the chili cheese etouffee. Not crazy about the gumbo (surprisingly) but I think it might have been burnt when I tried it. Might try it again to make sure.
