New Grub is Horriable! So sad to see the once great steak house has turned into a portion control strip mall location! (Alex Rd.)

I have been twice now...will not return!

Cole Slaw was bland, Fried fish batter was hard as a rock. fruit cup was still frozen . French fries were dry and appeared to be not madee fresh.

I just had dinner at the new location of Grubsteak on Alex Rd off Rt 725. I ordered the combination 5oz filet with ribs, salad and steak fries. The fries, salad and filet were excellent. However, I was extremely disappointed in what you called "ribs". How can you possibly disappoint people with what I would certainly call FAKE ribs. ...

Don't judge a book by it's cover. The exterior and interior of Grub Steak has deteriorated a bit, but the great food and great service has not tarnished a bit. Located on Main St. in Dayton, Grub Steak will be soon moving to a new location south of town. (Dayton Mall exit, in the old Yellow Rose)

The Royal Ribs are the best that I have ...

Eight of us had dinner there Friday nite and it was excellent. The boasted chicken was great.
My son's steak was the best he has ever eaten, my prime rib was very tasty and my husband
had a combination of ribs and prime rib and he loved it. I highly recommend everyone go and
try it. Oh by the way I will be going to the new Grub Steak on Alex Road once it opens in
February.

Three of us ate lunch today at the Grubsteak. It was Great; the Royal Ribs, salad, blue cheese dressing, onion rings, etc! We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely return with friends.

Went to Grub Steak for the 1st time a week ago and it was awful. My steak was cooked well done when I ordered it Medium. The second steak they brought out was no better. The salad was okay. The baked potatoes were GREAT as was the service and the bread. Located in a bad area. Don't think I'll go back.

Went with my wife for our anniversary based on Internet recommendations and were very disappointed. Steak was below average quality. Good & friendly service though. Hard to find if you don't know the area either.
