    I stayed at the Avila la Fonda in December '08 for two nights-- on previous vacations, I'd stayed at a few of the nicer coastal hotels in Pismo, but this was by far the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in. !     We stayed in a 'Spa Suite' and we thought it was perfection! The staff was great, the service was great and we simply enjoyed every part of our stay at La Fonda & at Avila Beach in general.
