Already planning our next visit to HilltopThe motel was very inexpensive and close to everything. It was a fun atmosphere with tons of options for entertainment right there. We only stayed one night but wish it could have been more. Before we left we booked an entire block of rooms for next summer to hold a family reunion. What a great place!!!We just got back from a visit there and it was wonderful! The rooms were nice and clean, the pool and hot tub were wonderful. There was a great patio to grill out on (all spices and utensils were available), or make pizza for the kids, and a popcorn machine. There's a game room and an area outside with outdoor games. Getting betterThis is an old motel now under new ownership which is working hard to update it. Not luxurious, but fair value for the money. Amenities include heated outdoor pool and hot tub, grilling and outdoor dining area, close proximity to Surf Ballroom, some kitchenette units. Works well for small group and family gatherings. AWESOME CANT WAIT TO GO BACKWOW!! LOVE IT!! The staff is VERY friendly and is always there if you need them. There are games to play, an area to grill out w/ your family & friends, awesome view of the lake and a pool that is WARM & lots of fun. We love how the rooms have a different theme. Great Drunken OptionIt's right across from the Surf Ballroom, and a few other bars, but the motel is very old and falling apart. The rooms were extremely cheap, all we did was sleep in them. It is the great drunken option, because it didn't matter to us, and the rooms were ridiculously cheap. Also, I think I slept on an old Army style bed.
