My boyfriend had to things to say about this campground:
- Out of the nearly 30 campgrounds he has stayed in, this was the worst.
- He felt transported to Appalachian West Virginia, cue banjo music.

The campground is run by a scatterbrained and inhospitable guy and hi skeezy friends. Campsites are tiny and bathrooms are awful. Showers are pay, ...

Checked on a room for a couple of nights and found them more than disgusting.The bath room was filthy and the showers were no better.I have since talked with people that live in the area and was told that it is the embarrassment of the area.

Had great time at little river campground fishing was great! Sunsets unbelieveable from the waterfront tent sites.

Seven seas whale watch was the best ever! saw many whales. Fine dining was ample in Gloucester. Best beaches in New England. I will Miss Little River Camprgground but I WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!

This was by far the worst camping experience of my life, and we camp A LOT.

First, they had lost our reservation although they cashed our deposit check. They couldn't accomodate us for the full time we had reserved. After finding a site for a few nights they didn't even offer a discount for our trouble.

We did'nt want to leave.The rooms are rustic but comfortable and affordable.Pete and his wife Judy are great people they make you feel at home.I caught my first BIG fish right off the dock.My son was able to swim in the small swimming area it is also peaceful.The views are awesome and it is only a few min. to everything.For a campground they get 5 stars it is a great place to relax.

I brought my camper down for a weekend last year & wound up staying until the campground closed!!!
